Read this to join the chat box!

Hi everyone!

Here at TSS, we have a chat box. Some of you are already using the chat box, but others aren't, so here's a quick reminder on how to access it. You reach the chat box in two ways.

1. Point your browser to chat/

2. Enable the chat box to appear at the bottom of every page, so you can chat as you browse the forum, by enabling it on your profile. Go to your profile settings, make sure "display chat box" is set to "yes", then click "submit". Even if it was already set to yes, you need to do this once to make the forum save your preference. You can update this preference at any time.

The chat box uses the same sign-in details as your forum account, so you can chat and forumise seamlessly. Please be aware that the chat box is subject to the same rules as the rest of The Sim Shack. If you see any behaviour in the chat box which upsets you, please PM either myself or tdyannd. Everything which is said in the chat box is logged and the logs are held for 30 days, so we can look the logs up and take appropriate action.

Um, yeah. I have a question...

Whenever I try to change my personal settings, it comes up saying: WRONG DATA when I press submit. It doesn't let me change anything!

Can you take a screenshot of the error? That's really odd!

Your screenshot is okay once you click on it to expand it. That's so weird, I hope Heather can get that sorted for you!

This is really weird, I'll have a poke about to see if I can work out what caused the problem, for now I've entered all the info showing in your screenshot into your profile via the admin panel, let me know if you want anything changed.

The "WRONG_DATA" issue should now be fixed, so you should all be able to customise your profiles now without a problem. Sorry about that!
